The elusive magnificence of Egypt is a remarkable choice for the intrepid Indian traveller. In order to curate an exclusive holiday for the Indian traveller to experience Egypt in all its grandeur, the Egyptian National Tourism Office in India has launched the advanced phase of its e-learning programme to enlighten and educate the Indian travel trade community.

Through this programme, Egyptian Tourism will impart the right knowledge about Destination Egypt and all the necessary information to create a memorable Egyptian holiday. The professionals who successfully complete the programme will be certified as ‘Egypt Advanced Expert’.

This advanced phase of the Egypt Advanced Expert e-learning programme will have:

  • Compulsory Course: 2 generic modules which are mandatory.
  • Elective Modules: After successfully completing the Compulsory module test, a travel professional has to quality for at least one of the following 3 elective modules.
  • Culture
  • MICE
  • Pilgrimage

That makes a total of 3 modules (including compulsory course modules) that you need to complete (You can choose to complete only one, two or all three of the elective modules in addition to two compulsory modules – it’s entirely up to you. However, we recommend completing all of them – the more you know, the better you can sell the destination.

How It Works?

There are two sets of courses:

  • Compulsory course (2 Modules)
  • Elective course (3 modules)
  • The compulsory course offers 2 modules. You are required to complete the two of them with min. 60% per modules.
  • After the successful completion of the compulsory course first, you need to complete any 1 elective module with min. 60% that you will choose from 3 elective modules.
  • That makes a total of 3 modules (including compulsory course modules) that you need to complete (You can choose to complete only one, two or all three of the elective modules in addition to two compulsory modules – it’s entirely up to you. However, we recommend completing all of them – the more you know, the better you can sell the destination.
  • Read through the relevant module content, familiarizing yourself with both the text and any images and video. Once you have studied a module to your satisfaction, you will need to take a test specific to that module, in which you will need to score 60% or more to pass the multiple-choice test. Do note that since this is an advanced phase of the E-learning Programme, the questions for qualifying each modules will be based on the application of the knowledge in the specific to that module.
  • Every participant will have 3 attempts per lesson to achieve the required min. 60% qualification criteria to proceed to the next module. After 3 failed attempts, the participant will be disqualified from the programme and the designated user id will no longer be valid.
  • The whole course does not have to be completed at once. You can study in your own time, when it suits you as long as it's completed within the three months (90 days) from the activation of the programme on www.travelbizmonitor.com.
  • On successful completion of the course, you will be able to access your Egypt Advanced Expert certificate detailing that you have successfully completed the online certification course.
